How to set your ringtone

iPhone — iOS 26 or later

  1. Tap iPhone above. The tone opens in a player.
  2. Tap Share, then Save to Files.
  3. Open the Files app and press and hold the tone.
  4. Tap Share, then Use as Ringtone.

It appears under Settings → Sounds & Haptics → Ringtone.

Older iPhone? Save the file, open GarageBand, import it into a project, then choose Share → Ringtone.

Android

  1. Tap Android above to download the tone.
  2. Open Settings → Sound & vibration.
  3. Tap Phone ringtone.
  4. Choose the tone from your downloads.

Menu names vary a little between manufacturers — look for Sound, then Ringtone.
